  4. Add the milk mixture along with lemon juice to the flour, knead well until smooth.

  5. Cover the dough and keep it in a warm place to rise, for 1 or 1 and half hour.

  • Making the Filling -

  • Making the Glaze -

Mix all ingredients together and keep aside in a cool place.

  • Making the Cinnamon Rolls -

  1. Roll into a rectangle to make bigger rolls.

  3. Roll it up from the longest side, roll tight but not too tight. Pinch the seam tightly.

  4. Cut ¾-1 inch rolls from the dough.

  5. Place the rolls in the baking dish. Cover with a damn muslin cloth. Let them rest in a warm place in the baking dish for 45 minutes.

  6. Preheat the oven to 180C/360F. Bake the rolls for 15-20 minutes until they're golden brown.

  • For the Glaze -

  1. Cool slightly, loosen the edge with a knife, demould it.

  2. Brush with the Glaze mixture evenly over it.

  3. Serve immediately.

Tips:

  1. Instead of vegetable oil you can replace that with 1 egg for tasty if not vegetarian.

  2. You can use whole wheat flour instead of all purpose flour.

  3. Use white vinegar instead of lemon juice if the lemon is not available.

  4. Always preheat the oven before baking the rolls. It will take an oven 20 minutes to preheat.
